Order process

To help you keep track of your order, we will:

  • Send a confirmation email to confirm your order.
  • Send a despatch email to let you know your parcel is on its way.
  • DPD (our courier) will send an email advising you of the day your delivery is due.
  • DPD will also send an email and text detailing a 1 hour delivery time slot (UK customers only. Irish customers will receive a 2 hour delivery time slot).
  • If this time is not convenient then you can change the delivery day or request delivery to a safe place or neighbour.
  • If there is no one available to sign for your parcel and you have not requested to leave it in a safe place, the driver will leave a calling card with instructions to rearrange your delivery. This can also be arranged by downloading the free DPD smartphone app, which allows you to change your delivery preferences and rearrange any DPD deliveries at your convenience in seconds.

If you change your mind about anything you buy online simply return the item/s unused within 28 days of receipt for a full refund. For further details please see our Terms and Conditions. This is in addition to your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations.

UK Royal Mail Freepost service

  1. Add your address to the Freepost returns label received with your order and attach to your parcel ensuring the original delivery labels are covered.
  2. Complete the Postal Returns Note and enclose with your item/s inside your parcel.
  3. Make sure you obtain a 'proof of postage' certificate which you should retain until you've received your refund.
  4. We will email you confirmation your refund has been processed. Refunds can take up to 10 days to process.

If you require an additional or replacement UK Freepost Returns label, please follow the instructions via this link which will allow you to create a Royal Mail Freepost label which can be printed and attached to your parcel.

UK Collect+ Freepost Service

Visit www.collectplus.co.uk or text COLLECT and your postcode to 84555 (e.g. COLLECT WD17 1DU) to find your nearest Collect+ store. Texts to 84555 are charged at your standard network rate.

  1. Visit www.collectplus.co.uk, select 'Mint Velvet' from the retailer list and enter your order number and email address. Tick the terms and conditions box and press 'Proceed'.
  2. Attach the Collect+ label you receive by email to your parcel ensuring the original delivery labels are covered.
  3. Take your parcel to any Collect+ store, where you will be given a receipt and tracking code to retain until we email confirmation your refund has been processed. Refunds can take up to 10 working days to process.

UK & Ireland Returns to Store

Return your item/s to one of our Boutique stores - excluding Portsmouth Gunwharf Quays and concessions/department stores. Please bring the original despatch note and payment card used to place the order. Please refer to the online Store Finder for your nearest Boutique store.

Free International Returns (exc United Arab Emirates & Switzerland)

  1. Ensure your item/s are securely wrapped and insert your completed Postal Returns Note.
  2. Visit https://mintvelvet.returnsunlimited.com/ to generate a freepost returns label.
  3. Fill in your details in the fields required and confirm your return by clicking Place Return.
  4. Print the returns label and attach to your parcel.
  5. Post the parcel at your local Post Office and make sure you obtain a 'Proof of Postage' certificate which you should retain until you've received your refund.

United Arab Emirates & Switzerland Returns

  1. Complete the Postal Returns Note and enclose with your item/s inside your parcel.
  2. Ensure your item/s are securely wrapped and the below return address is clearly visible on the parcel.
  3. Post the parcel at your local Post Office and pay the correct postage at the time of sending.
  4. Make sure you obtain a 'proof of postage' certificate which you should retain until you've received your refund.
  5. We will email confirmation that your refund has been processed. Refunds will be processed upon receipt in the UK.
