STORE CAREERS

What's it like working in retail?

Like all areas of the business, our retail teams need to react quickly and move fast. We work hard to deliver the relaxed boutique vibe and warm, personal and expert service that our customers love. Our favourite thing in a packed day is just spending time with the customer – who are experts on our favourite subject – Mint Velvet! Whilst our store teams are busy bringing our unique brand ethos to life directly with our customer, our Regional Development Managers touch almost every part of the business. Across a week they'll be pivoting from driving commercial success on their regions to delivering training and collaborating with their head office colleagues to influence our omnichannel performance, using their amazing customer insight and local market knowledge.

Sandra

Chiswick manager

I feel inspired and passionate about the values MV stands for and feel very lucky to to be part of such an amazing brand created by inspirational women that empower me every day. I’ve been with MV for nearly 6 years and run 3 stores and am looking forward to my future opportunities with them.

Charlotte

Stamford manager

I studied Fashion Marketing at University while working a part- time job in a department store.
It was there that I realised that my strengths lay in a retail and face-to-face customer service environment; making a difference to people is what drives me, whether that is by helping a customer with styling, helping my team with their development or working towards our collective goals

Gabbi

Henley manager

I began working for Mint Velvet when I was 18. 18 months later I was a manager and with support from others I found myself running our gorgeous Henley Boutique. Within the 5 years I’ve worked for MV I’ve been given the opportunity help with store set ups and run our gorgeous Oxford Street concession. Mint
Velvet allows us to be creative, independent managers surrounded by inspirational female leaders.
