Here we have gone for an oversized shearling jacket paired with a skinny jean, which keeps the balance of the proportions in-between the big and the small, the slim and the slightly oversized. I just love this shirt, it has beautiful details with trumpeted sleeves and ties at the back. To bring a little bit of jazziness to the monochromatic pallet, we have added the snake-suede shoe. A shoe like this makes an outfit – you can keep it simple everywhere else.
“If it isn’t broke, not point in trying to fix it”
I love a jumper dress with a bare leg and it is something that works very well in the UK, specifically for those in-between days that seem to be 80% of our year. When it gets chilly you can put a pair of opaques on as well but it would look really great with a biker boot or just with sneakers.
I have styled it here with a block colour suede shoe here to keep it a little bit more trans-seasonal.
“For me this is the perfect look for a 14 – 15 degree day.”
TWENTY FOUR SEVEN
For the final look we have this jacket which has a much more masculine cut to it. It is boxy and wide across the body rather than being cinched at the waist and I am pairing that with leather look leggings and a silk blouse. That’s what I always love about a leather look and silk combo because it works just as well in the office as it would for cocktails. To finish off we have gone for a simple pointy black court shoe to work with those, I feel if you have got something with print you can go a little simpler elsewhere.
“These will always be an easy day to night solution”
