SLEEK & SLOUCHY
Monochrome is big this season, so tick off two trends in this one easy outfit.
If you can keep the colours simple you can be more adventurous with the overall silhouette, and slouchy and relaxed are big themes this winter – think oversized knits, wide-leg trousers of all shapes and sizes and cocoon coats. For a flattering take on the trend go with an asymmetric tunic layered over your cropped wide legs.
A pair of clean white trainers will add a sporty touch to the overall look.
Pair your wide legs with a fluted sleeved top – tuck it in to give the impression of never ending legs. Again, it’s all about keeping the colours simple, allowing the overall silhouette to do the talking. A super skinny scarf is a great way to add a dash of colour and texture to the look.
A heeled boot will look great, just make sure to keep about an inch of ankle showing.
LONG & LANGUID
There’s something undeniably glam about a loosely cut silhouette, harking back to the glitz and glam of the 1920s New York party scene.
We’ve styled the wide legs with a longline printed tunic – a modern take on the look. Flats will look great, not to mentioned on trend, but if you’re petite try switching them out for some heels for a lengthening effect.
