Rockett St George
With Easter on the way, we’re starting to think about hosting – and how to add a little individuality to our Easter table this year. Known for their eclectic designs and quirky treasures, we instantly thought of Rockett St George, who kindly shared their tips and tricks with us.
“Gathering around the table with your loved ones is always a special experience and at Rockett St George we believe that these moments can be made just that little bit more magical with a creative table display.”
Build your table from the centre outwards
Starting with your centrepiece, layer your table with textures, patterns and objects of varying heights to create drama and interest. It’s a well-established interior design trick that will create an instant focal point on your table. So go to town and layer serving plates and bowls, fill vases with flowers or greenery, add napkins, quirky objects or ornaments and layer candlesticks and tealights, all of which are guaranteed to add the wow-factor!
And, if you really want to go all the way, then why not hang lanterns, lights or greenery over the table? It’s the ultimate way to create impact in your dining room and will amaze your house guests.
Add quirky details
At Rockett St George we are firm believers that if you really want to create a unique interior you’ve got to express your unique personality.
So, don’t be afraid to express yourself in your home. For a table setting, we’d recommend adding a quirky decorative ornament or display piece that makes you smile. Filled with greenery, they will really stand out on your table display.
For an Easter table, take it one step further and buy some fresh spring flowers, such as daffodils, and fill your vases with the beautiful florals. The fresh spring scents will help to set the scene. Then stack Lazy Rabbit Cake Plates and fill our White Pekin Ducks Plant Pot Vase with easter eggs for an extra special display.
Get creative with your napkin folding
Delight your friends and family with your amazing napkin folding techniques! Really easy to do, we’ve come up with a bunny rabbit folding idea for you to create for your Easter table. You’ll just need some ribbon, a hard-boiled egg, gold spray paint and a little patience!
