During our recent #MVStaycation press trip we visited Face Gym for a unique new treatment – part-facial, part-workout where they use high energy kneading movements and cutting edge technology to tone and tighten the forgotten 40 muscles in the face. We’re all so busy in the gym working on our core or quads, our face muscles are often over looked. We left the Kings Road studio with glowy, sculpted skin and were hooked on Face Gym’s non-invasive, zero-risk, face lifting solutions.

If you don’t live near a Face Gym but want to try one of their workouts, give this DIY facial a go.

  1. Tie your hair off of your face
  2. Take a face serum and pat on to your face. We recommend Face Gym’s training serum that is personalised to you at their ‘Make It Bar’.
  3. Knuckle the product in, particularly if you’re using Face Gym’s training serum as it’s friction activated. Start from your jaw line and work right up to your forehead, this will bring all the blood flow to the surface of the skin.
  4. Then, without slapping, whip the skin, very quickly sweeping upwards from the jaw line. This is great to get a glowing complexion and encourage blood circulation.
  5. Finally, contouring and lymph drainage – create claws with your fingers and get right into the nicks under your eyes and begin to sweep down under the cheek bones and down the jaw line, following the contours of your face. Try this first thing in the morning to drain fluid and de-puff the eyes.
