Do you live in jersey tees and leggings at the weekend? Looking after your clothes is the best way to extend your wardrobe’s lifecycle, but different fabrics require different kinds of TLC. If you’ve ever wondered how to look after your jersey, keep reading for our expert tips and advice.
Always wash your jersey on a cool wash cycle. We recommend turning it inside out to protect any embellishments or prints, and always wash similar colours together as some colours can bleed into others.
Do not tumble dry your jersey, this can cause it to shrink! Always air dry instead, either on a line or clothes horse.
Our jersey can be ironed gently on a medium to low temperature. Once again, turning it inside out is always best, and try to avoid any prints or embellishments.
Hang your jersey on a hanger in the bathroom when you shower – the steam will reduce any creases.
Store it in a cool, dry place. Do not hang jersey for long periods of time as gravity can cause it to grow. To avoid extra creases, we recommend folding the sleeves backwards and then fold once in half so the neckline touches the hem.
