- Have a well-rounded understanding of design and print process and strong digital design background
- PC and MAC literate
- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 5/6 - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat
- A strong understanding of grid systems, composition, layouts, type, colour, trends and ability for creative thought
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software - Word, Powerpoint and Excel
- HTML and Flash will be an advantage but not essential
The Role:
- Execute and maintain the look and feel of all site content and extend the look through all content streams and offline collateral
- Work alongside the Marketing Manager to develop the seasonal design templates, develop new ideas and concepts for on and offline initiatives and maintenance of the brand's tone of voice
- Develop and produce weekly email campaigns alongside the Marketing Manager
- Design online components such as homepages, landing pages and blog entries in schedule with the editorial calendar
- Produce seasonal store collateral ready for print including postcards, posters and brochures
- Prepare ad-hoc artwork projects such as adverts, stationary, event invites, social media editorial and web banners
- Image re-touching when necessary
- Work on all initiatives to ensure increase of traffic, conversion rates and sales
- Communicate progress at each stage of the design and artwork process for the smooth running of work and planning schedules
- Understand the company quality management and file management systems and employ a methodical approach to archive management and file organisation
